Calistoga Map
The Calistoga AVA asked me to create a Map of their American Viticultural Area (AVA). The scope of the project included creating a map that can be printed at any size and also a version for their website. In addition, they wanted all the locations of the members wineries available on google maps with information regarding those wineries.
Since the Calistoga AVA wanted the map to be able to be printed at varying sizes, I decided to create it with vector tools as they can be scaled without losing quality. I was able to create the terrain by referencing google maps. With a combination of google maps, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Illustrator, I was able to create the map in ANSI A, B, C, D sizes and more. Below is a low quality version of the map created for online purposes and to not give away the high quality version.
