Program Coordinator
January 2013 - Current

Under direction of the Vice President of Instruction and the Dean of Career Technical Education, teach all levels in the DDGT program; serve as Program Coordinator of the DDGT department; manage the Autodesk Authorized Training Center; participate in the development and revision of curriculum; participate in professional development activities; maintain current knowledge in the subject-matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies; work cooperatively with other department members, the division chair, and the vice president to develop and maintain quality instruction.  Adhere to contractual obligations, meet assigned classes, maintain regular office hours, assist and advise students, participate in division activities and appropriate college committees, including regular faculty meetings of the department and division.  Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: monitor budget and trust accounts; coordinate repair, upkeep, and procurement of program equipment; serve on DDGT Advisory Committee.

March 2008 - Current

Training students on the latest release of Autodesk software packages AutoCAD and Inventor Professional in the Autodesk Authorized Training Center in the DDGT evening program.  Subbing in the DDGT day classes and training the students in AutoDesk, Adobe, and other software packages as needed.  As of March 2013, I have taught 277 students in these classes and I have received an average of 96.61% approval rating based on student evaluations on my performance.

Instructional Assistant III
April 2007 - January 2013

Assisting with instructional activities, supervising students and lab assignments, assisting students in the use of software and other instructional equipment, tutoring, preparation of lab materials, assisting in smooth functioning of the Autodesk Authorized Training Center courses, maintaining lab equipment (workstations, servers, and printers), clerical duties, general IT, rebuilding the lab network yearly with the latest software (60+ machines), and other duties as required.

Creation of graphics and documents for the web.  Maintaining all of the Athletics department’s webpages through SharePoint (also including those of sports departments and the Hall of Fame) focusing on consistency to make sure all the independent departments still look and function as one.

Mechanical Drafter / Animator for Optema Development
January 2006 - Current

Creation of 3D models and 2D plan sets as needed in Autodesk Inventor Professional.  Creation of animation shorts for DVD output and for internet streaming for marketing and company outreach.

Mechanical Drafter for West Coast Hogs
1999-2001

Reverse engineering of three mini–pocket bikes including “The Phatty”, “The Chopper”, and “The Café Racer”. Creating full plan sets for each bike and sending the files digitally to China for mass production. Website Production and other assistance as needed.
